Now what? It’s always good to have something to look forward to. Even though Easter was so much different than what we’re used to, there was still excitement to think of new ways to celebrate that special day. But now what? Lockdowns continue. A virus still lurks. The anxiety hasn’t gone away. The worries and troubles and problems persist. And there’s no Easter to look forward to. Now what?
Here’s what: “Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days” (Psalm 90:14). Want a reason for joy and gladness every day? It’s God’s unfailing love for you. God doesn’t just love you during Holy Week and Easter. God doesn’t just love you on special occasions. God doesn’t just love you when you feel loved. His love is unfailing every single morning. It’s true that it’s good to have something to look forward to. Here’s something you get to look forward to every day: “Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy and be glad all our days.”
