Need some hope today? A member of our church recently shared this story with me: “Each year after my Easter lilies are finished blooming, I plant the bulbs in my garden. Most years, either the squirrels get the bulbs, the bunnies chew the sprouts, or they don’t survive our WI winter. Today, as I was working in the yard, I was beautifully reminded (see the picture from her garden!) that even in, or especially in, this crazy year of 2020, the blessing of Easter and Jesus beating eternal death for us is something to be celebrated every day of the year. :)”
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a LIVING HOPE through the RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3).
